I started in the fall of 2007. I was hooked immediately so I returned the fall of 2008, and every spring and fall season since.
With bird banding, breeding bird surveys, working with and helping with the care of raptors at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, and monitoring nesting peregrine falcons – my retired life has become quite bird-oriented.
I have also acquired a wonderful network of like-minded people and developed many special friendships.
